Calgary Buffalo Hockey Association

Club Information -  Members include minor and junior aged players who's permanent residence is within the boundaries of the following Community Districts and junior aged players who qualify under rule AA7.

Calgary Minor Hockey Association
Club Information -  Amateur hockey in Canada is overseen by the Canadian Minor Hockey Association. In Calgary it is administered by a member organization -the Minor Hockey Association of Calgary. These organizations ensure that all players have an equal opportunity to participate in a safe and fun sport.

A number of communities operate hockey programs within Calgary and the standards established by Minor Hockey permit the communities to participate in inter-community league play on a fair and consistent basis.

 

Crowchild Hockey Association

Club Information -  To encourage maximum participation in the program by the participants and their parents. To create a spirit of competition. To encourage sportsmanship. To develop, through participation, the basic skills of the sport of hockey. To foster proper conduct of players, coaches and parents.

Communities:  Scenic Acres, Silver Springs, Varsity Acres

 

Crowfoot Minor Hockey Association

Club Information -  The Crowfoot Minor Hockey Association began its operations in 1982 representing 3 communities, 15 teams and 225 players.  Crowfoot Hockey was incorporated in September 1991 under the Societies Act of Alberta as a not-for-profit organization.  It is governed by its constitution and is administered by an elected volunteer Board of Directors. 
Crowfoot Hockey now represents the following Communities:  Arbour Lake, Dalhousie, Hamptons, Hawkwood and Ranchlands.  Previous to the 2005/2006 season, Crowfoot also represented Citadel, Royal Oak and Rocky Ridge.  These 3 Associations now belong to Bowriver Hockey.  Players from these 3 communities that were registered with Crowfoot previous to 2005 may choose to stay with our Association.

 

Elbow Park Hockey

Club Information -  To operate a competitive hockey program for children in Initiation, Novice and Atom divisions, designed to promote the development of hockey skills with positive attitudes towards sportsmanship, fair play, education and citizenship”. Communities,  Britannia , Cliff Bungalow/Mission , Elbow Park ,  Elboya, Erlton, Mount Royal, Park Hill, Rideau/Roxboro, Stanley Park.

 

Girls Hockey Calgary

Club Information -  Female players who reside within any of the Local Minor Hockey Associations. Communities:  City wide

 

Glenlake Hockey

Communities: Altadore, Bel-aire, CFB/Lincoln Park, Chinook Park, Eagle Ridge, Kelvin Grove, Lakeview,  Mayfair, North Glenmore Park, South Calgary (Junior, Midget, Bantam & Pee Wee players from Elbow Park Hockey).

 

Lake Bonavista Hockey Association

Communities: Bonavista Downs, Lake Bonavista, Parkland (Junior and Midget players go to Southside).

 

McKnight Hockey Association

Club Information -  McKnight’s mission is to provide all participants with an affordable, fair and competitive hockey experience that focuses on the development of individual and team hockey skills, the practice of good sportsmanship and fair play and the opportunity to be challenged while having fun.

Communities: Abbeydale, Beddington Heights, Bridgeland/Riverside, Cambrian Heights, Crescent Heights, Greenview, Highland Park, Highwood, Huntington Hills, Marlborough, Marlborough Park, Mayland , Mount Pleasant, North Haven, North Haven Upper, Queens Park Village, Renfrew , Rosedale, Rosemont, Thorncliffe, Tuxedo Park, Vista Heights, Winston Heights.

 

Midnapore Hockey Association

Club Information -  Midnapore and Shaw Meadows Associations have agreed to ensure players from our communities are offered every chance to play within our associations prior to accepting players from other associations.  This means that if a division is full in one organization, the organization will look to the other for openings and vice versa.

Communities: Chaparral, Cranston , Midnapore and Sundance (Junior Players go to Southside - Midget and Initiation players from Shaw Meadows Hockey Association).

North East Athletic Association

Club Information -  Our goal is to build a foundation for the development of both hockey and life skills amongst all members of our Association, while fostering pride, tradition and excellence. Within this framework  we will strive to create a positive environment that emphasizes the importance of mutual respect  and teamwork.

Communities:  Arbour Lake, Banffe Trail, Bowness, Brentwood, Capital Hill, Charlewood, Citadel, Collingwood, Crestmont, Dalhousie, Greenwood/Greenbriar, Hamptons, Hawkwood, Hillhurst, Hounsfield Heights/Brian Hill, Montgomery, Parkdale, Point McKay, Ranchlands, Rocky Ridge, Royal Oak, Scenic Acres, Silver Springs, St Andrews Heights, Sunnyside, Tuscany, University Heights, University of Calgary Residence, Valley Ridge, Varsity, West Hillhurst as well as the residents of the Springbank Minor Hockey Association who reside outside the Calgary city limits.

 

Properties Sports Association

Club Information -  We dedicate ourselves to the advancement of amateur sports in our community by providing quality sports programs for our children to participate in and providing progressive leadership that will create a safe atmosphere to foster sportsmanship, team spirit, skill development, self esteem and a love of the sport.

Communities: Castleridge, Coral Springs, Falconridge, Martindale, Monterey Park, Pineridge, Rundle, Saddleridge, Taradale, Temple , Whitehorn.

 

Seven Clubs Hockey Association

Club Information -  The East Calgary Twin Arena Society is the result of a vision, a dream, and the desire of a small group of Seven communities. This group formed a society in 1979 to build a sport facility in the greater Forest Lawn area, which would provide a home for the Seven Clubs hockey program.

Communities:  Albert Park/Radisson Heights, Applewood Park, Dover, Erin Woods, Forest Heights, Forest Lawn, Penbrooke Meadows, Red Carpet/Mountview Mobile Park, Southview.

 

Shaw Meadows Hockey Association

Communities: Bridlewood, Evergreen, Millrise, Shawnee Slopes, Shawnessy, Somerset (Junior players go to Southside – Midget and Initiation players go to Midnapore Hockey Association).

 

Simons Valley Hockey Association

Communities: Cinnamon Hills , Country Hills, Country Hills Village, Coventry Hills , Evanston , Harvest Hills, Hidden Valley, MacEwan Glen, New Haven, Panorama Hills , Sandstone Valley, Symons Valley (Kincora & Sherwood).

 

Southland Hockey Association

Communities: Bayview, Braeside, Canyon Meadows, Cedarbrae, Haysboro, Meadowlark Park, Oakridge, Palliser, Pump Hill, Sarcee, Southwood, Windsor Park, Woodbine, Woodlands.

Southside Minor Hockey Club

Communities: Lake Bonavista Hockey Association, Midnapore Hockey Association and Shaw Meadows Hockey Association and all Midget hockey players who are residents of Lake Bonavista Hockey Association.

 

Springbank Minor Hockey Club

Club Information -  Springbank Minor Hockey Association (SMHA) is a volunteer group of moms, dads, brothers & sisters and is located in the community of Springbank, immediately west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We have close to 600 boys and girls from age 4 to over 20 registered in our program. The Association is a member of Calgary Minor Hockey and our community teams all participate in Calgary Minor Hockey schedules.

Communities:  Aspen Woods, Cougar Ridge, Discovery Ridge, Springbank Hill, West Springs as well as those areas outside the Corporate City Limits of Calgary as defined by Hockey Alberta as Zone 9.

 

Trails West Hockey

Communities: Bankview, Christie Park, Coach Hill, Glamorgan, Glenbrook, Glendale, Killarney/Glengarry, Patterson, Richmond, Rosscarrock, Rutland Park, Scarboro, Shaganappi, Signal Hill, Spruce Cliff, Strathcona Park, Scarboro/Sunalta, Westgate, Wildwood.

 

Westwood Hockey Association

Club Information -  The Westwood Hockey Association of Calgary administers the minor hockey program in the area known as Westwood.  The goal of the Association is to administer the minor hockey program in a manner that maximizes participation, fun and skill development in hockey. Westwood consists of the 3 associations of Communities: Brentwood, Triwood and West Hillhurst. See Boundaries.
