Calgary Bankside Fish Creek Park

Back To More Calgary Parks

Bankside Fish Creek Provincial Park has a welcoming picnic area located on the West bank of the Bow river in S.E. Calgary. Like most places in Fish Creek Provincial Park it is easy to forget you're in a city with a population of over 1million people. The steep bank directly across from the picnic area is called the wall of fish. Named by fly fisherman as this river bank holds numerous large brown and rainbow trout. A boat is needed to access the bank.
