Carburn park is located next to the community of
Riverbend on the East bank of the Bow river in S.E. Calgary. It
offers several welcoming picnic sites and a paved pathway around ponds that
are fed by the Bow river. These ponds attract several varieties of
bird life with plenty of benches to observe them from. The park has some
interesting trails near the Bow river. Some of these trails will
make you forget you're in a major city. This is one of Calgary's
best parks for nature lovers.
