Pearce Park Estate is located near the community
of Inglewood in central S.E. Calgary. This park offers several
picnic sites, nature trails, bike paths and the home of the Bow
Habitat Station (Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery). The Bow river
Western Headwork's Irrigation weir that provides irrigation to
farmers East of Calgary is also located in the park. The weir is a
great place to view Pelicans that migrate from Florida in the
summer. The sign regarding 'Certain Death' is a fact. Several people
have drowned here trying to float over it.
