Sandy Beach Park is located in S.W. Calgary in
the Elbow river valley East of the community of North Glenmore. This
park offers several nice picnic sites, trails and pathways,
playgrounds and Elbow river wading areas. The name 'Sandy Beach" is
somewhat misleading as I could find no sand on the river beach,
small pebbles at best. Maybe sand was hauled in at one time?
