Valley Ridge Community Associationc/o 11732 Valley Ridge Blvd NW
Valley Ridge was developed in 1992 and is considered an estate community. The association was organized in 1963. Valley Ridge community is located in NW Calgary in between the TransCanada highway and the Bow River. The community has a considerable amount of green space plus the Valley Ridge Golf & Country Club. Areas near the Bow River contain several natural areas that will make you forget you're living in a major city. Mountain and city views can be seen throughout the area. Winsport Canada Olympic Park is located just South of here.
A Community Association membership is a great way to support your community. They are inexpensive and voluntary. A valid membership is usually required to participate in recreational, social and educational programs from soccer to girl guides, karate to yoga, stampede breakfasts to senior programs, movie nights and much more! Several Calgary recreation centres will also provide a discount for community association membership holders.
Volunteers are the heart and soul of our community. There are over 20,000 volunteers in the Calgary community association network, making it the largest volunteer movement in the city! Without volunteers we wouldn't be able to do the things we do. Volunteers are needed for programs, fund raising casinos, community association tasks, family events, community events, sports and much more. Please contact the association directly if you are interested in volunteering.
