Dance Arts Studios is a yearly program September-June with a yearend show at the Jack Singer Concert Hall

To Register:

1. Email dancearts@shaw.ca or call our office 403-241-7969 to discuss your Childs class placement
2. Complete the registration and waiver release forms, the office will email  them directly to you, mail them back with payment to: Kel Soloway Dance Arts Studios 26 Arbour Ridge Circle NW T3G-3S9
3. You will receive a confirmation email with start date of class, along with the required dance attire needed.

 

Fees: All registered participants must submit a registration fee of $25.00 per person. 1 hour class = $49.00 per month + g.s.t                               45 minute class = $44.00 per month + g.s.t Year End Show/Costumes Each class will have the opportunity to perform their in-class routine at our year-end show. The show will be held at the Jack Singer Concert Hall in June. All students are required to purchase a costume, cost is $65.00 to $90.00 and is non refundable.

Policy

·        Registration 

Registration, first and last month’s fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Payments of cash or cheque only!

If paying by cash, Trimester Instalments payments are required; all post-dated cheques must be handed in at registration or prior to the start of the first class. Flexible payment plans may be arranged privately by contacting Dance Arts office. Payments must be received within 7 days of receiving an email from the office. If payments are not received, registration becomes void.

·        Service Charges & Past Due Accounts

A service charge of Thirty Dollars will apply to all returned cheques. Payments that are past due will be charged a $15.00 service fee.

·        Missed Classes

There will be no refunds for missed classes by a student, if a teacher cannot be available for any class, a sub will be brought in or the instructor will make arrangements for a make-up class at a future date.

·        Student Withdrawal

Thirty-days written notice (on the first of the month) is required in the event of cancellation, notification must be received by mail or email. The remaining balance of tuition fees will be refunded excluding the registration fee and pre-paid JUNE payment. Notifications will not be accepted over the phone. After March 1st, refunds will only be given for medical reasons. A medical note will be required.

·        Parents Viewing    

There are no parents, friends or extended family allowed in the classroom during regular class times.  

·        Dance Attire

Parents please have your child/children in proper dance attire and dressed accordingly. No food drinks or chewing gum is allowed in the studio (exception - water bottles).  Cell phones must be turned off at all times throughout the class or else not permitted inside the classroom.

·        Privacy Act

Dance Arts Studios has a definite and ongoing commitment to protecting your privacy. The privacy and security of our parents and students personal information (information that can identify you as an individual) is understood and respected by Dance Arts Studios. We collect your information so we may contact you with regards to students attending Dance Arts Studios.

Dance Arts Studios is committed to safeguarding your personal information, your personal information will not be sold, rented, or leased or given to a third party other then companies contracted to provide services to Dance Arts Studios such as Photography (meaning pictures taken of students in their costumes) Video Taping (meaning videotaping of the entire Yearend show).  Dance Arts Studios reserves the right to use dancer’s picture for the solo purpose of advertising and on our website.

·        Waiver

The Community Association, City of Calgary, and all directors, instructors and other staff associated with Dance Arts Studios do not assume liability and are hereby released by the participant from any and all, losses, or claims arising from his / her participation in any Dance Arts Studios Programs including, without restricting the generality of the foregoing, any lost or stolen property and personal injury sustained.
