Welcome

Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. Arbour Lake is a vibrant community whose residents take pride in where they reside. Arbour Lake boasts mountain views, city views, lake views, Canada Olympic Park views, or just plain old, your neighbour's back yard views. To date, we can boast of one new school, a new library, a large recreation field, lake activities, a YMCA facility, and a town centre with modern and new amenities. Main routes to and from the community are excellent with John Laurie Boulevard, Country Hills Boulevard, Crowchild Trail, Stoney Trail, Nose Hill Drive, and 1A Highway, all readily accessible.

The most important aspect of Arbour Lake is the residents. There is an eclectic mix of people and cultures to make you feel welcome. A neighbourhood stroll will have you visiting with whomever is out walking or the person who is out working in their yard. Wave a beverage over your fence and you better be well stocked because your neighbours will gladly join you!

As in any community, there must be an organizational group, a location, opportunities, and a desire to provide more than an average living environment. The Arbour Lake Community Association is a vehicle that is available to any resident of Arbour Lake who cares about the community and wishes to make improvements for the betterment of all residents. The neat thing about this association is that there are few formed parametres and your participation will help to mould events and standards for future generations. We currently have a group of dedicated and committed volunteers on the executive and on the board of directors. They will assist you in any endeavour that will benefit the residents of this community.

There is an open invitation for all residents to join us in helping to maintain and improve the community. We care about the children, the seniors, the environment, the building development, the streets, the traffic, the schools, the block watch program, the reduction in crime, the resolution of disputes, the providing of entertainment, the parks, the government proposals or grants, and the provision of services by the City. We care about what could affect you and yours. If you live in the community now, we look forward to your support. If you are contemplating a move into the community, we welcome you and look forward to your support in the future.
