At Highwood, growth opportunities abound.  Through games and music, children learn to express themselves.  Activity centres and a book lending program build confidence, discipline and resourcefulness.  A growing self-awareness is enhanced through public speaking with “Star of the Week” and our own version of Show and Tell – Treasure Box.  Yoga lessons, ‘gymboree’ and skating lessons are a few aspects of our physical skills component.  Involved with the community the children begin to recognize how to be responsible citizens.  We have a few spots available each year for Junior Kindergarten.
