The Hillhurst-Sunnyside Community Centre has a variety of rooms available for your large or small, private or public function. We can accommodate weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, workshops, meetings, classes, and sports all under one roof.

The Board Room

This room is ideal for small, quiet meetings. 

Located upstairs in the Community Centre, it has a capacity for about 12-15 people.

Hearth Room

The smaller of our two special event rooms (capacity of 125 people), the Hearth Room has some wonderful features perfect for small family events and corporate functions.This Room features a skylight, large windows, and a working fireplace.

The Hearth Room also has a kitchen and separate entrance.

Social Hall

At a capacity of 308 people, the Social Hall is great for fundraisers, banquets, and cultural events.

The Hall is completely self-contained with a separate entrance, kitchen, and washrooms.

The room has a divider and can be rented separately for classes, meetings, and smaller events.

Gymnasium

Arguable the busiest room in our Centre, the 6000 sq. ft. Gymnasium is awesome for any kind of sport—basketball, badminton, soccer, and even floor hockey.

The Gymnasium is also great for larger dances, performances and cultural events.
