Thank you for your interest in the Riverbend Community Centre. This beautiful facility is situated in South Calgary and located just East of the beautiful Carburn Park.

ROOM RENTAL RATES

INFORMATION

The Main Hall (upper level) can accommodate up to 176 people for a seated function, and up to 200 for stand up reception. The upper level includes the Elbow River Room for your bar, and serving area for your buffet. There is a patio adjacent to the Elbow River Room for your use.

We have several Caterers who have catered event at Riverbend Community Centre. We would gladly provide their contact information and will work with to develop your catering options. We also have contacts for DJ and audio visual services as well as having AV equipment on site for rent. We will work with you to develop your Catering and Audio Visual options.

Adjacent to the Hall are site features including a skating rink (winter), a playground and open play areas and fields. These areas are open to Riverbend Residents; therefore use of them is not exclusive to your party.

Payment for the Hall rental is due 21 days prior to your function, or immediately if your function occurs within 21 days.  A specific payment schedule will be attached to your contract.  Cheques should be made payable to Riverbend Community Association.

Bar:  If you are serving liquor at your event you must obtain a Liquor License.

We provide bartending (1 bartender per 80 guests) at a cost of $17.00/hr plus GST each.  All bartenders are hired by Riverbend Community Association., and are allowed to collect gratuities throughout the evening.

Corkage (not optional): We provide corkage to all parties. Corkage includes: mixes: Coke,  Diet Coke, 7-up, Ginger-Ale, Tonic Water, Club Soda, Orange Juice, Cranberry Juice, Pineapple Juice, Clamato Juice, Ice, Plastic Glasses, Fresh Lemons, Limes, Celery, Tabasco, Worcestershire and Salt & Pepper.

This service is provided at a nominal cost of $4.00 per person for parties serving alcohol

General Rental Information: There is a minimum damage deposit on any room booking, refundable approximately 7-14 days after the event provided there is no damage assessed and the keys, cards have been returned. This fee secures the date of the function booked.  If a cancellation occurs, within 60 days of the date of the event the renter forfeits the full amount of the deposit. If cancellation occurs prior to the 60 days the security deposit will be refunded less 10% administration fee. All cancellation requests must be made in writing and will be refunded based on the date received.
