River Park Sandy Beach Britannia Slopes Park Management Plan Update

Thanks to those of you who wrote in about the plans for redevelopment of River Park Sandy Beach and Britannia Slopes.

Comments from Britannia were compiled and sent to Parks in early December. Two letters were written, one dealing with comments about the plan itself and the other with the consultation process.

Parks confirmed that our comments were sent to O2 Design. Parks provided the following update on December 17^th :

“The design team is responding to feedback received from the comment period and is expected to release the Final Plan by the end of January 2010.  Please check the City of Calgary Parks website for further updates about this project.”
