Cliff Bungalow and Heritage

The Mission Area Redevelopment plan just passed 2 months ago, used as the bible for guiding the board and committees and appealing against developers. The url may not access directly but can be meandered to through the city of calgary main site under planning. Same applies to the Cliff Bungalow ARP, a separate document.

The Cliff Bungalow and Mission ARP may be purchased at the City of Calgary Website (click here) for $10 each.

Standards and Guidelines for the Preservation of Historic Places in Canada, originally from Parks Canada, it only applies to historic sites that are already designated but can be used as a guideline by any organization.

takes you to the Calgary Heritage Authority minutes where a new form for Heritage Resource evaluation was floated. Still in the mill apparently. Calgary Heritage Authority is the "official" heritage body, appointed by and reporting to council they are the only designator of heritage sites in Calgary that are put onto the Inventory and then passed onto the Province for designation. A very rare occurrence.
