ADULT PROGRAMS

YOGA

MIXED LEVEL HATHA YOGA:  This mixed level yoga class is for anyone with an interest in yoga.  Standing postures will be emphasized.  Exploring the effects of each posture on the breathing and balance within the posture.

TRANSITIONAL YOGA:  This is geared toward students seeking a more solid foundation for the postures.

DAYTIME FITNESS

BUNS, BELLIES PLUS MORE: 3 in 1 Workout. A select combination of exercises from the Stott Pilates Essential Mat work, using weighted Stott balls, dyna bands and stability balls.

·        Define, firm and shape the lower body.

·        Strengthen and elongates the postural muscles for a more slender elegant appearance.

·        Improve flexibility of the spine and relieve stiffness.

·        Promote agility, strength and relaxation.

LOW IMPACT:  Fun filled class with low impact aerobics, muscle strength, resistance training and core stability with free weights and dyna bands.  Class will incorporate some yoga fit style movements and Pilate’s poses.

PILATES & STRETCH Level I:  This class is designed for those new to Pilates and those with previous experience who want a combination of strength and stretch in one workout.

·        Improve your posture, balance and co-ordination.

·        Strengthen and lengthen your muscles while building bone density.

PILATES AND STRENGTH Level II:  This class is designed for those people with previous experience who are ready for more!  You will learn more challenging mat exercises in addition to using free weights and the stability ball.  Guaranteed to take your fitness to the next level.

·        Strengthen and lengthen your muscles while building bone density.

CHI-BALL PILATES/YOGA FUSION: This class is designed to re-energize tone and relax the body.  The class has a good combination of exercises using the Chi Ball and free weights which help build bone mass, strength and flexibility.  Each movement opens the body’s energy pathways connecting to our internal organs, helping build a valuable stress fighting, anti-aging mind and body.

YOUTH PROGRAMS

RED CROSS BABYSITTING COURSES:

There will be two Red Cross Babysitting courses offered this fall. 

No LBCA membership required.  Students must bring a lunch and pen.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS

 

TUMBLETIME: Especially appreciated on those otherwise house-bound days, and many times referred to as the "sanity saver", this program lets your children run around and burn off some excess energy some where other than your home!   It's a great opportunity to meet other parents and have your children make new friends.

Please help our supervisor by putting all equipment in cage.

Drop-In Program. 

Runs on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 10:00 – 11:30 am in our gym.
